An online Associate's degree in Medical Assisting will set you on the road to a Bachelor's degree if you choose, but be aware of the differences in the two types of programs: vocational and transfer. Vocational programs build specific profession skills but credits do not transfer.
Transfer programs are the stepping-stone to a Bachelor's degree and you might be able to apply some or all of the credits earned toward general education requirements.
